Immune responses in the uterine mucosa: clues for vaccine development in pigs
نویسندگان
چکیده
The immune system in the upper reproductive tract (URT) protects against sexually transmitted pathogens, while at same time providing tolerance responses allogenic sperm and developing fetus. uterine environment is also responsive to hormonal variations during estrus cycle, although most likely timing of exposure pathogens breeding when cervix semi-permissive. goal for intrauterine immunization would be induce local or systemic immunity and/or promote colostral/lactogenic that will passively protect suckling offspring. fetus not vaccine target. This minireview article focuses on response induced pig uterus (uterine body horns) with some comparative references other livestock species, mice, humans.

the search for the self in becketts theatre: waiting for godot and endgame
this thesis is based upon the works of samuel beckett. one of the greatest writers of contemporary literature. here, i have tried to focus on one of the main themes in becketts works: the search for the real "me" or the real self, which is not only a problem to be solved for beckett man but also for each of us. i have tried to show becketts techniques in approaching this unattainable goal, base...

Monitoring cellular immune responses is one prerequisite for rational development of cancer vaccines. The primary objective of immune monitoring is to determine the efficacy of a vaccine to induce or augment a specific T-cell response. Further questions relate to the prevalence and functional relevance of spontaneous tumor-directed immune responses, the functional characteristics of T-cell resp...
متن کاملImmune Responses and Vaccine Development for Cytomegalovirus Infections
Aims: (1) To review the published literature on immune biology of hostCytomegavovirus (CMV) interactions and to discuss the host immune responses against viral infection, providing insights into the complex interplay between the host and the virus that facilitates viral persistence. (2) To report on the status of CMV vaccines that are currently in preclinical and clinical development, outlining...
متن کاملInflammasomes in antiviral immunity: clues for influenza vaccine development
Inflammasomes are cytosolic multiprotein complexes that sense microbial motifs or cellular stress and stimulate caspase-1-dependent cytokine secretion and cell death. Recently, it has become increasingly evident that both DNA and RNA viruses activate inflammasomes, which control innate and adaptive immune responses against viral infections. In addition, recent studies suggest that certain micro...
متن کاملdevelopment and implementation of an optimized control strategy for induction machine in an electric vehicle
in the area of automotive engineering there is a tendency to more electrification of power train. in this work control of an induction machine for the application of electric vehicle is investigated. through the changing operating point of the machine, adapting the rotor magnetization current seems to be useful to increase the machines efficiency. in the literature there are many approaches wh...
